Sackville, N.B. - Reginald H Estabrooks, age 92, of Sackville, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2007, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born in Midgic, he was a son of the late Harry and Mabel (Phinney) Estabrooks. He was employed with CNR for 27 years, first as timekeeper on the extra gang and then as office clerk in Moncton, He loved gardening, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Midgic Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Hazel of Sackville, N.B.; two sons, Ronald (Lillian), Amherst, Wylie (Laura), Sackville; daughter Marilyn (Herman) Everill, Amherst; nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; three sisters, Rhona (Granville) Richards, Hazel Long and Coreen (Willie) Patterson, all of Sackville. He is predeceased by one grandchild Kendyl; great granddaughter Emily; two brothers Kenneth and Norvel; and two sisters Hilda and Barbara. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) where visiting hours were held on Wednesday, March 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service took place from the Midgic Baptist Church on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 2 p.m., Lic Hal Lowther officiating.
