PHILLIPS, SHIRLEY ANN - The death of Shirley Phillips of Perth-Andover, occurred on August 25, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 62. Born in Perth-Andover she was the daughter of Meladine DeMerchant and the late Garnet DeMerchant. Besides her mother she is survived by two sons, Rickey (Lynn) Phillips of Lower Kintore and Jeffery Phillips of Perth-Andover; two grandchildren, Christopher and Joel; seven sisters, Phyllis Davenport of Perth-Andover, Carolyn (Gerald) Finnamore of Moncton, Bertha (Russell) Finnamore of Saint John, Mona McDougall of Oromocto, Marlene Lewis of Perth-Andover, Gail (Jack) Harvey of Dartmouth, NS and Marjorie DeMerchant of Calgary, AB; four brothers, Bamford (Lauretta) DeMerchant and Gary (Sylvia) DeMerchant all of Perth-Andover, John (Pat) DeMerchant of Calgary, AB and Jake (Pam) DeMerchant of Tobique Narrows; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Garnet DeMerchant and sister Laura McDougall. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Sunday August 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28th, 2006 at 11 a.m. from The Wesleyan Church, Perth-Andover with Rev. Ryan Farrell officiating. Interment in the Larlee Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
