NICKERSON, WELLINGTON (WELDON) FRANKLYN - The death of Wellington (Weldon) Franklyn Nickerson of Clarks Harbour, NS, formerly of Saint John, NB, occurred at Roseway Hosptial, Shelburne, NS, on August 29, 2006 at the age of 72. Born in The Hawk, NS, he was the son of the late Wallace and Ellen Nickerson. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Marlene Smith; sons Franklyn (Lois), Irason (Francine) and LeRoy (Debbie), all of Saint John, NB and Wellington Jr. (Zena) of C.S.I., NS; one daughter Cheryl (Jim) Lee of Montreal, QC; one brother, Folton (Susan) of Saint John, NB; one sister Valerie (Emery) of Saint John, NB; special niece Coral (Bob) Brannen of Saint John, NB; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Seaward, Trueman and Blanford and sisters Neta, Leora and Vera. Arrangements are under the care of Huskilson's Funeral Home, Barrington, NS. Visiting will take place Thursday, August 31 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service to take place Friday, September 1, at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Old Kirk Cemetery, North East Point, C.S.I., NS. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
