MORTON, DAVID A. - The death of David Andrew Morton of East Saint John occurred on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1950 in Saint John, he was the son of Douglas and Marion (Bailey) Morton. David was an Electrician and had worked for Saint John Shipbuilding and Thorne's. Besides his loving parents, Douglas and Marion, he is survived by his wife, Pauline Morton; son, Shawn Morton of Quispamsis; brothers, Robert Morton (Paulette) and Bruce Morton (Pam) both of French Village; sisters, Mary Sweet (Robert) of St. Martins, Linda Carr (Bill) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Janette Hartin (Daniel) of Quispamsis; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his son, David Joseph Morton. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
