MUMMERY, CHRISTABEL LOUISE (CORKUM) - The death of Christabel Mummery, wife of Donald Mummery occurred on September 2, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Feltzen South, Nova Scotia on January 11th 1922, she was the eldest daughter of the late Bennett and Mary (Spindler) Corkum. In addition to her husband Donald, she is survived by her daughter Gail Mummery (James McLean) of Manchester, NH. Christabel was pre- deceased by her brothers Roy, Ray and Ralph and her sister Kathleen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424). There was a private family funeral service at Portland United Church and committal at Fernhill Cemetery.
