McGARRITY, GLORIA STELLA (PAPPAS) 1933 - 2006 It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria on September 28, 2006 after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, NB on November 6, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Gus and Clementine Pappas. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband John Allen McGarrity, her sons Deno (Cathy), Stephen (Tracey), grandchildren Angela, Bobby, Michael, and Colleen. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Colleen Marie, brothers Peter, George, Nick and Jim. Gloria was a past member of the N.B. and N.S. Realestate Association, as well as a member of the Daughters of Penelopy (Greek Association). Gloria was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend her time with her family. Many Thanks to the girls from BBM, (you know who you are), Gloria really enjoyed your friendship. Nana we will hold you close in our hearts and you will be missed. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd.with visitation on Sunday October 1, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00pm. Parish prayers and sharing of memories will be held at the funeral home sunday evening at 8:30pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Monday October 2, 2006 at 1:00 pm with Father Phil Mulligan officiating, with a reception to follow. Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery. In Gloria's memory, donations may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital.
