ALONZO RAYMOND BREAU
BREAU, ALONZO RAYMOND - Alonzo Raymond Breau of Bocabec, NB passed quietly away at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on October 29, 2006, just eight days shy of his 84th birthday. Born in Campbellton, NB on November 6, 1922, he was a son of the late Aamie and Louise (Gerard) Breau. He is survived by his loving companion; Ceclia Czaplinski of Bocabec, one son; Allan of Montreal PQ and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Irene Breau. Alonzo was born in Campbellton, but spent most of his adult life in Montreal, returning to his favourite place, New Brunswick, after retirement. During WWII he was with the North Shore Regiment which made a first regiment landing on D-Day and he served with the forces in France until armistice. In his later years, Alonzo enjoyed fishing and the craft of woodworking. A memorial service will be held at the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 with Father John Ighacho officiating. In Alonzo's memory donations to the NB Kidney Foundation or to a charity of a donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
