Survived by one son, Darrell and his wife, Carol of Fredericton, NB, two grandsons, Troy (Heather), Shawn (Shanyn), one great granddaughter, Brynn, two sisters, Dorothy Irving, Fredericton, NB and Faith Crompton, St. Stephen, NB, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Reta Cook and Grace Fowler and two brothers, Aubrey Johnston and Bernard Johnston. Myrtle retired after 25 years of service with the Charlotte County Hospital as a ward aid. She loved making quilts, knitting and a faithful member of the Gateway Cathedral Church. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB (506-466-1844) from where funeral service will be held on Saturday November 11, 2006 at 2 PM. Interment at RollingDam United Cemetery, RollingDam, NB. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday November 10, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Cancer Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
