CAULFEILD, IRENE - Peacefully at Kingston General , Kingston, Ontario on Tuesday 14 November 2006. Born in Elmvale, Ontario 16 July 1910. Daughter of the Rev. Dr. E. Frank Salmon and Elizabeth Smith. Educated in Ottawa and at St. Christopher's College, London, England. Editorial assistant at Anglican Church House in Toronto for four years prior to marriage in 1940. Lived in Saint John, New Brunswick from 1957 to 2005 and latterly moved to Kingston to be closer to her immediate family. Devoted wife of the late Archdeacon Arthur Caulfeild. Predeceased by her sister Hilda Whatmough (Toronto) and brothers Read Salmon (Victoria, B.C.) and Cuthbert Salmon (Stillwater, Oklahoma). Dear Mother of David in Ottawa and Patrick (Marjorie) in Kingston and has four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There will be a private family funeral service in Kingston on 17 November. A memorial service in recognition and celebration of Irene's life with her many friends in Saint John will be held at Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday, 07 December at 11:00 AM.
