PARKER, VALERIE JEANNE - The death of Valerie Jeanne Parker, loving wife of George Parker of Nerepis, NB occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1945 in Hanwell, London, England she was the daughter of the late Arthur Charles and Mollie Isobel (Cummings) Guntrip. Valerie found her greatest joy in her family. Besides her loving and devoted husband George, she is survived by her son, David Parker (Kelly) of Grand Bay-Westfield; daughters, Yvonne Norris (Bob) of Moncton and Cheryl Parker (Brian) of Saint John; seven grandchildren, Brandon and Kyle Parker, Danika, Payton and Makenna Norris, Breanna and Erika Marr; sister, Christine Troubridge of Brampton, Ontario; nephew, Michael Troubridge and niece Alanna Lester (Darryl); and many extended family and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brother, David. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Friday, November 24th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 25th, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. Following cremation, a private family interment will take place in St. Augustine's Cemetery, in the spring.
