LILLIAN MAY MARTIN (DOUGLAS)
MARTIN (DOUGLAS), LILLIAN MAY - Lillian May (Douglas) Martin of City Road, Saint John, loving wife of Gerald Martin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital November 29th 2006, at the age of 83. Born 1923 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Warren and Margaret (Brown) Douglas. Lillian was employed at SMT Eastern Limited for 35 years before retiring in 1987. She had lots of fond memories on King Street. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Parish and the CWL. Lillian had a great love for gardening, for dogs (Ginger and Lilly) and church suppers. Most of all she loved playing with her granddaughter Elicia. She will be sadly missed by all who love her. Besides her loving husband Gerald, she is survived by one son Francis (Terry Lee) Martin of Saint John; granddaughter Elicia; two sisters Marion Larkin (Francis) of St. Stephen and Ruth Douglas of Saint John; chosen sister Mary Kennedy (Kevin), their children Douglas McQuarrie and Mary Kennedy all of Saint John. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday, December 3rd 2006 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Trinity Church, Rockland Road, on Monday, December 4th 2006 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
