age 75 years. Passed peacefully away on Monday, July 21, 2008 with an upcoming birthday on Saturday, July 26. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (nee Walsh), parents Samuel and Tryphena, stepmother Ivy, brothers Ernest and Harold; sisters Olive, Dot and Ada, along with several other relatives. Leaving to mourn daughters Margie Whitten and Elizabeth Wells; sons George (Carol) and Billy; grandchildren Melissa Dwyer, Lisa Whitten, George Whitten Jr. and Matthew Wells; great-grandchildren Maggie, Emily, Leah and Shanelle; sisters Sheila and Shirley; special friends Rita and Mike O'Brien, Paula and Dawn Rowe, Raymond Clarke, George Rowe; homecare worker Glen Lucas, little buddy Casper and a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to all the nurses at St. Clare's, especially 6 East and Dr. C. Mann, Dr. Mike, Dr. Reddy and Dr. Crocker. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road.
