PTINIS, GEORGINA MARY 'GINA' - The death of Georgina Mary 'Gina' Ptinis occurred on December 9, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Sheban George and Annie Josephine (Stephen) Lewis. She was a member of St. Pius X Church and Our Ladys Myrionite Society. Surviving are her children Nicole Ptinis (Travis Dares) of Toronto; Nicholas Ptinis (Pamela) of Saint John; granddaughter Ashley of Toronto; brothers Gabriel (Boots), George (Barbara), John (Donna); sister, Marina Gallagher (Gerry); brother-in-law, Joseph Richard Gauthier, all of Saint John; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her sister Debbie Gauthier predeceased her. Although there will not be any visiting following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 11:00 am, from St. Pius X Church.
