FAIRWEATHER, DAVID JOHN - The death of David John Fairweather, loving husband of Violet (Hillman) Fairweather, occurred on Thursday, December 14th 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1935 in Saint John he was the son of the late Clair and Pearl (Hamm) Fairweather. David worked as a Mechanic for Irving Oil for 33 years. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Besides his loving wife Violet of 52 years, he is survived by his son John Fairweather (Lois LeBlanc) of Rothesay; daughter Donna Montromery (David Grant) of Saint John; grandchildren Tabitha, Natasha, Theresa and Katherine; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Lloyd Fairweather; sisters Ollie Brown and Alice McLeod. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 16th 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
