Aged 71 years of South Brook Road, Cumb. Co., Jack passed away on Monday, January 21, 2008 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the Late Rathburn and Marjorie Genevieve (Skidmore) Lovely. During Jack's earlier years he enjoyed woodworking but as he grew older he held a talent for country music and spent many enjoyable times entertaining with family and friends playing the guitar, fiddle and banjo. He is survived by his wife the former Isabella Chapman; son, Don (Diane) Lovely of Salt Springs, Cumb. Co.; daughters, Debbie Lovely of New Glasgow and Sheila (Wade) Pearson of Calgary; brothers, Dan Lovely of Oshawa and Doug (Jane) Lovely of New Minas; sisters, Shirley Shore and Lurley Tardif both of Kingston; grandchildren, Steven MacDonald, Jennifer and Daniel Lovely, Cassidy and Thomas Pearson; great grandchildren, Danielle, Marcy and Carly MacDonald; many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. A Graveside Committal Service will be held in the Mapleton Cemetery, Cumb. Co., at a later date.
