HARRY W. PARKER
PARKER, HARRY W. - The death of Harry W. Parker of Quispamsis, husband of 48 years to Mary (Mountain) Parker, occurred December 16, 2006 at Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Georgetown, PE, son of the late Henry and Jane (Murphy) Parker. Harry was an accountant with JDI, Kent Lines/Atlantic Towing and Saint John Shipbuilding before retiring in 1989. He was a member of Saint John Gyro Club, the Naturalist Club of Saint John, NB Museum and an active member of his parish church. Surviving besides his wife Mary are one daughter, Jane, Vancouver; two sons, Charles (Daphne Davis), Dartmouth, Peter (Tammie), Calgary; eight grandchildren, Keenan, Murphy and Brendan Ndjiva, Leah, Keira, Cailey, Fiona and Quinn Parker; one sister, Edith Fortune, Halifax; two brothers, Herb (Marguerite), Bedford, NS, Frank (Jane), Georgetown, PE; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lorna Parker, Kathleen Lavers; and two brothers, Stanley and Frederick. Cremation will be followed by visitation at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Hammond River, Monday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 11:00am at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Peter Gillies officiating. Memorials to Canadian Cancer Society, Holy Trinity Church or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
