GIBSON, BRIAN - The death of Brian Gibson occurred on December 19th 2006 at his residence following a period of failing health. Born in Dundee, Scotland, he was the son of Peter and Alison McGuigan. He was employed with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. being a member of Local #3. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Jervis Bay Branch #53, and the R.O.A.B. He enjoyed bowling and play pool. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed their company very much. Besides his parents he is survived by his companion Theresa Caswell, son Brian Gibson (Angelina) of Saint John, daughter Lisa Gibson (Shawn) of Saint John, brother Michael McGuigan (Sue) of Liverpool, England, grandchildren Tyson, Bryston, Jordan and Cassidi and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his adopted father Harry Gibson. Although there will not be any visiting, following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 23rd 2006, at 10:00 a.m., from St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Douglas Ave. Remembrances made to St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, the Extra Mural Program Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. www.brenansfh.com
