FITZGERALD, FRANCES - The passing of Frances Madeline Fitzgerald, Quispamsis, NB formerly of Woodland, Maine, occurred on January 3, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born in St. Stephen, NB, August 22, 1939 at the Chipman Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late Warren Doten and Madeline Johnson of Woodland, Maine. Fran enjoyed gardening, ceramics and decorating. Her door was always open where she graciously welcomed all family and friends. She is survived by her husband Michael Fitzgerald; daughters Maryam (Carl) Doucette, Calgary, AB and Kimberly (Marty) Wilcox, St. Albert, AB; sons Frederick (Joan) and Michael (Sherill) both of Winnipeg, MB; grand- children Mason, Marcie, Myles, Leana, Michael, Kimberly, Wesley, Dean, Taylor, Hailey; great grandchild Emily; sisters Pearl Tomah, Calais, Maine and Gloria (Lloyd) Corbet Baileyville, Maine; brothers Warren Doten, Eastport, Maine and Erland Doten, Baileyville, Maine; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by sisters Betty and Marion. At Fran's request there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2007 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis.
