SIMON, ARTHUR (1941-2007) - husband of Claudia (Levi) Simon of Elsipogtog, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB, on Thursday, January 25th, 2007, at the age of 65. He was born in Big Cove and was the son of the late Fred Simon and the late Margaret (Peter-Paul) Simon. Arthur was a well known self- employed entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife, Claudia; four daughters, Charlene Sappier (Tony) of Tobique, Jeanne Simon of Elsipogtog, Paula Simon (Jim) of Toronto, ON, and Deanna Simon of Elsipogtog; one son, Randall Simon of Elsipogtog; three sisters, Mary Marguerite Augustine, Doreen Sanipass, and Mary Josephine Flewelling, all of Elsipogtog; one brother, George Simon of Elsipogtog; and 13 grandchildren. Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by one son, Matthew Simon; one grandson, Baylen Simon; two sisters, Maggie May Clair, and Mary Rose Peters; and one brother, Wilfred Simon. Resting at his residence, 403 Main Street, Elsipogtog, NB. The funeral mass will take place at Ste. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog, on Monday, January 29th, 2007 at 11:00am. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
