90, Front Lake Road It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our darling mother, Patricia Amanda MacQueen-Hagell of Front Lake Road on April 15, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. The daughter of the late Patrick and Obeleine (Thibodeau) Gaudet, Patricia is survived by sons, Jackie (Frances), North West Arm, Richard (Pauline), Front Lake Road, Joseph (Marg), Ontario, and Michael, Front Lake Road; daughters, Marie MacIsaac, Sackville, Helen (Joe) Huculak, Manitoba, Jane (Sam) Buran, Florida, Ann (Al) Higginson, Ontario, Patricia Jacobs, Front Lake Road, Valerie (Donald) Pearcey, Ontario, Janet (Alex) MacLean, Front Lake Road, Suzanne (Michael) Mulhall, Ontario; stepchildren, Charles Hagell, Ontario, Dorothy (Brad) Isaac, Sydney, Marie MacNeil, Sydney, Sonya Hagell, Ontario, and Herbert (Linda) Hagell, Ontario. Also surviving are sisters, Ena Kronberg, Massachusetts, Rita Sawlor, Sydney, Louise (Thomas) MacDonald, Ontario; and by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her first husband, John Norman MacQueen and her second husband, Percy ‘Gig’ Hagell, sons, Brian, Bruce, Norman, stepsons, Fred and Donald Hagell, sisters, Maryanne Gaudet, Sr. Frances Gaudet, Marguerite MacNeil and Genevieve Gaudet. Visitation will take place at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, Sunday, April 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Daniel Church with Rev. Donald MacGillivary officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
