LEAH ELAINE WHIPPLE

WHIPPLE, LEAH ELAINE - The death of Leah Elaine Whipple wife of Bruce Whipple of Boom Road, NB occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, February 9, 2007 at the age of 64. Born in Miramichi, NB, Leah was the daughter of the late Lorne and Margaret (Clouston) Hare. Leah was a retired Teachers assistant and a homemaker, a member of the Miramichi Literacy Council, Laubach Literacy, NB, Teddies for Tragedies and attended the Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband Bruce, Leah is survived by one daughter Heidi Ryder (Gary) of Miramichi, NB; two sons: Jeffrey (Tracey) of Fredericton, NB and Andrew (Laura) of Rothesay, NB; one sister: Lorna McLean (Ernest) of Fredericton, NB; three brothers: Wilson Hare (Deloris) of Miramichi, NB, Aubrey Hare (Maisie) of Whitney and Roger of Australia: three grandchildren: Natasha, Matthew and Andi and four step-grand- children: Jenna, Shanna, Tiffany and Nick and several nieces and nephews and her mother-in-law Ramona Whipple. Visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home, Sunny Corner on Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: The Remains will then be transferred to Bell's Funeral Home on Sunday for visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Roger Frizzell officiating. Burial will take place in St. Phillip's United Church Cemetery, Whitney later in the spring. In Leah's memory a memorial may be made to the NSER Alumni and Friends, The ALS Society of NB or a memorial of ones choice.
