ZIGANTE, ZORKO(1936 - 2007) - Mr. Zorko Zigante of South Esk., passed away on Tuesday February 13, 2007 at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 71. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Victore and Antoinia (Cerneka) Zigante. He was a millwright and attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi. He is survived by two daughters Nina Zigante (Greg Stewart) of South Esk., and Denise Michelle (Claude Connors) of Waasis N.B.; one brother Sylvanio (Anita) of Italy; two grandchildren Alexandra and Francesca and several nieces and nephews. Zorko was predeceased by two brothers Ivan and Bruno. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 17, 2007 at 11 am at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank with Father Dan Melanson officiating. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to a memorial of ones choice.
