68, Sydney The family of Helen MacDonald, a resident of Braemore Home, announce her passing Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Catherine (Munroe) MacDonald. Surviving are her sister, Sarah ‘Moralene’ MacLeod, Sydney; and brother, John ‘Jack’, Balls Creek. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Beth MacDonald, and brothers, George and Hughie Kenneth. There will be no visitation. A funeral service will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Saturday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Interment will take place in MacKeigan’s Cemetery, Loch Lomond.
