CHRISTENSEN, LEONARD - Mr. Leonard Christensen, 86, of New Denmark passed away in hospital on March 2, 2007. He was the husband of the late Wanda Dixon. Born at New Denmark in 1920, he was the son of the late Walter and Christine (Staal) Christensen. He is survived by three sons, Stephen (Dawn) of Ottawa, Stanley (Cheryl) of Lac Sainte-Marie, Quebec and Russell (Jean) of Houseys Rapids, Ontario, two daughters, Laurie Christensen of Kilworthy, Ontario and Rachel McGrayne of New Denmark, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son-in-law, Vince Morgan. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls, with visiting Sunday from 7-9 p.m. He will then be resting at Bethany Lutheran Church, New Denmark on Monday, from 1-2 p.m. His funeral will be held Monday, March 5th at 2 p.m. from the church, with Pastor David Knudson officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
