RAMSAY, WILLIAM - Mr. William Ramsay of Pleasant Ridge, passed away on March 12, 2007 at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Ruth; his son, David Ramsay (Ruth Ingersoll-Ramsay) of Saint John; eight step children: Betty Morin (John Wright) of Halifax, Austin Folkins (Joan) of Mt. Middleton, Raymond Folkins (Laura) of Keirstead Mountain, Donald Folkins of Moncton, Lawrence Folkins (Dixie) of Berwick, Burton Folkins (Mary) of Fredericton, Elmer Folkins of Carsonville, Everett Folkins (Kathleen) of Pleasant Ridge; five sisters: Mercia Farrell (Leslie) of Montreal, Myrtle Murphy (Eugene) of Windsor, Ont., Irene Maxwell of Beresford, Vera Ramsay of Newcastle, Verna Dixon (Roger) of Windsor, Ont., three brothers: Pat, James and Paul all of Newcastle; 25 step grandchildren, 16 step great grand children, several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brothers, Robert, George and Gordon. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. The Royal Canadian Legion, Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute Wednesday evening at 6:45.
