CLAUS, MARIE ISABELLA - The death of Marie Isabella Claus of Newburg, wife of Donald F. Claus, occurred on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Newburg, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Sparrow) McCarron. In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by her sons, Frank Claus (Honey Miller) of Newburg, and Donnie Claus (Norma Jinson) of Newburg; grandchildren Samantha Dawn, Franklin Donald, Patricia Ann, Lance Paul, and Mitchell Thomas; brothers Bill McCarron (Hazel) and James McCarron (Dorilda) of Newburg, and Arthur Riley (Diane) of Bowmanville, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by a brother, J. Lewis McCarron, and her step-father, Gerrard Riley. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM from St. Gertrude's Church. Rev. Bill Brennan will be the Celebrant. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Newburg.
