CRAWFORD, LEONA - The death of Leona Crawford of Plaster Rock occurred on March 17, 2007 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Drummond, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elise Bernier. Leona is survived by daughter, Irene (Russell) DeLeavey of McLaughlin, NB; son, Philip (Sandra) Crawford of Medicine Hat, AB; three granddaughters; two grandsons; and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Orise Lemieux of Montreal and Maggie Peters of Halifax. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Crawford; and daughter, Mona Elizabeth Crawford. Resting at White's Chapel, Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Tuesday, March 20th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 21st at 10 am St. George's Anglican Church with Rev. Ellen Curtis officiating. Interment in St. Machutus Cemetery later in the spring.
