LONG, BERNICE FLORENCE - The death of Bernice Florence Long, wife of the late Allison E. Long, occurred on April 6, 2007 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Isaah Jacob and Ethel W. (Kelly) Holmes. Surviving is her sister, Audrey Long and her husband, Ronald of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Annetta, Gertrude, Ethel and Pearl Simpson; and her brothers, Don, Arthur and Walter. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11:00 am from Brenans Chapel. Interment will be held at the Upper Springfield Cemetery, Collina, NB.
