DEMPSTER, CORA ROSE - Surrounded by her family and loved ones, the death of Cora R. (Forsyth) Dempster, age 85, wife of the late Aubrey Dempster, of Hampton, formerly of Norton, occurred at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, on April 12, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Louise (Landry) Forsyth. She is survived by daughters; Louise Mitchell, Saint John, Irene and Peter Owen, Saint John, Sharon and Stephen Chase, Bloomfield, and Sandra Dempster and Paul Walsh, Salt Springs, and son; Joe Dempster, Quispamsis, as well as, 21; grandchildren, 32; great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, sister; Iva MacLeod, Quispamsis, brothers; Roy Forsyth, Hunter Lake, and Sterling and Helen Forsyth, Kingston Peninsula, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons; Arnold and his wife Mary, and Fred, grandson; Scott and granddaughter; Joanne, sisters; Hazel Mercer and Nettie Coates, and brother; Peter Forsyth. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel, on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Following cremation, interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery.
