MILTON, ARNOLD W. (1921-2007) - Arnold W. Milton, 86, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, April 22, 2007. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Manning and Annie (Ward) Milton. Arnold retired in 1980 as Outside Foreman Storage Dept., CNR. He attended Berry Mills Baptist Church. He was a veteran of W.W.II having served overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy. Arnold was an active member of the Riverview Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years. He is survived by his wife, Annie Briggs-Milton; his son, James Milton (Joyce) of Quispamsis; his two grandsons, Scott of New Liskeard, ON, and Trent of Halifax; step children, Malcolm F. Briggs (Kathy) of Riverview, Cheryl-Ann Briggs Huxter (Kenneth G.) of Steady Brook, NF, Daryl A. Briggs of Berry Mills, and Jo-Leigh R. Briggs Lutes (John) of Steeves Mountain; his sister, Alma Melanson (Thomas) of Riverview; nieces, nephews; twelve step grandchildren; and nine step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Eileen (Sherwood) Milton. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ron Spracklin officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
