SIMPSON, ROBERT GEORGE - Robert George Simpson of Saint John, NB passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Vancouver, BC, a son of the late Francis and Agnes Simpson. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera Cecilia (Lundrigan). Survived by his son, Lee (Stefanie Pagliaro); grandsons, Robert and Dylan, all of Toronto, ON; his daughter, Roberta McLaughlin (Nelson Thorne) of Quispamsis, NB; sister, Agnes Last of Coquitlam, BC; brothers, Dave (Edith) and Jim (Margaret), both of Burnaby, BC, and Frank (Lorraine) of Maplecrest, BC. Bob was employed with Maple Leaf Foods for over 30 years. He was a devoted family man, who cared for everyone and was well loved by his friends for his dry sense of humour. Bob was a veteran of WWII. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 from Holy Trinity Church, Liverpool, NS. Interment will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool.
