SZOCS, AUDREY ROBERTA - The death of Audrey Szocs of Calais, Maine occurred at the Calais regional Hospital on April 24, 2007. Born in Saint John, NB on December 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Clarence N. Northorp and Annie E. Northorp (Leggett). Audrey is survived by three sons Francis (Barbara), Kenneth (Annette) and Eugene (Linda) all of Saint John NB.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Martin. Two brothers Donald (Eileen), James (Margaret), three sisters Dorothy O'Brien (Hubert), Florence Ogden (Stanley) and Blanche Ware (Frederick). Audrey worked for the Wilson Box Factory, Simms Brush & Broom, old Provincial Hospital and the DVA Hospital, all in Saint John and the Carney Hospital in Boston Mass. Audrey lived in Lancaster until 1963 when she moved to Boston with her husband Martin. They lived and worked there until 1982.They then retired and moved to Ellsworth, Maine. She moved to Calais in Dec 2006. At her wishes cremation will take place in the near future and no service will be held.
