JOHNSON, VENETTE - At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard, April 26, 2007, Mrs. Venette Johnson of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 80 years. She was the wife of the late Alfred Dionne by first marriage and of the late J. Frank Johnson by second marriage. Born at Saint-Andre in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Onezime and Eva (Rossignol) Cyr. She is survived by two sisters, Annette Bernier (Wilfred) of Grand Falls and Viola Cyr of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Clarence, Leo, Irma, Jeannette and Nelson. Her funeral will be held Monday, April 30th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption Cemetery. Please note there will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service. For those who wish, a donation to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
