KARL DOUGLAS NASON

NASON, KARL DOUGLAS - The passing of Karl Douglas Nason, of Douglas, NB, husband of 46 years, of the late Shirley Margaret (Inch) Nason, occurred on Monday, May 7, 2007 at his residence. Born on October 17, 1933, in Fredericton Junction, NB, he was a son of the late Dana and Lottie (Tracy) Nason. Karl attended school in Fredericton Junction, following this he went to work for C.P. Rail in March of 1951 as an operator, working in various places in Maine and New Brunswick until his retirement in January of 1989. Karl is survived by two brothers, James (Sharon) Nason of Fredericton, NB and Lynn (Jane) Nason of Saint John, NB; two sisters, Shirley (Leo) Porter and Hilda (Lee) Merritt both of Fredericton Junction, NB; sister-in-law, Marilyn Nason of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Karl was predeceased by one brother, Edwin Nason. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Amos Adeniyi officiating. Interment will take place in the Keswick Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
