FREEMAN WILLIAM BROWN

BROWN, FREEMAN WILLIAM - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB, on May 12th, 2007, Mr. Freeman William Brown, husband of the late Elizabeth Shirley Conley, of Hibernia Cove NB. Born on Campobello Island, NB on September 8th, 1924, he was a son of the late Asa and Zelma (Newman) Brown. A loving father and grandfather, Freeman is survived by one son, Reid (Julie) Brown of Hibernia Cove; one daughter, Shirley (Samuel) Mitchell of Saint John NB; four grandchildren, Rebecca (Toby) Stuart of Deer Island NB, Shelley Brown of Saint John, Michael (Dr. Kyna Squarey) Mitchell of Moncton NB, Katrina (Hans) Sylvester of Arlington VA; four great grandchildren, Sydney and Sullivan Stuart, Abigail Mitchell and Ava Sylvester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Freeman was predeceased by one brother, Wendell Brown; and by one sister, Marjorie Cline. A self employed fisherman all his life, fishing was Freeman's life passion and hobby. He was a longtime member of the Fundy Weir Fisherman's Association and a member of the Leonardville Church of Christ. Resting at the Leonardville Church of Christ, Leonardville, Deer Island NB with visitation on Monday, May 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Fairhaven Community Cemetery at Calder's Head on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. In Freeman's memory donation's to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
