MONAHAN, STEPHEN WAYNE - The death of Stephen Wayne Monahan of 486 Ravine Road, husband of Carol (Orchard) Monahan occurred suddenly May 13, 2007 at Hampton. He was born in Saint John, son of Gwendolyn (Pugsley) Monahan, Ravine Road and the late Bernard Monahan. Stephen was employed at Hampton Department of Transportation for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, working in the woods and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Carol and mother Gwendolyn are one son, Stephen James Monahan (Janet), Souris, PEI; one daughter, Tina MacGraw (Ron), Ravine Road; five grandchildren, Bobby, Johnathan, Mandy, Reece, Brianna; one brother, Rodney Monahan (Jo-Anne), Ravine Road; three sisters, Barbara Norton (Gordon), Moncton, Diane Carson (Barry), Hampton, Heather Hartlen (Tony), Hampton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many extended family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to a gathering at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00pm. Following prayers at 4:00pm, everyone is welcome at Stephen and Carol's home to continue the celebration of Stephen's life.
