HASSELMAN, THERESA M. - The death of Theresa Hasselman of Prince Edward Square, widow of Maurice Hasselman, occurred at her residence on Friday, May 25, 2007. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Melia Leger. Theresa had been employed with Northern Telecom. She was a member of the Cathedral Parish. Theresa is survived by two sons, Eddie Hasselman of Saint John and Don and his wife, Noreen of PEI; two daughters, Norma Hasselman and companion, Robert and Shirley (Gilbert) Boucher of Musquash; two granddaughters, Shannon and Sarah; one grandson, Bradley; two great grandchildren, Jack and Lucy; three half brothers, Gerry Leger of NS, Julien and Leonard Leger, both of Shediac; two half sisters, Diana Falch and Patricia Fougere, both of Shediac; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, one uncle and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster St (634-1712), visiting will be on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the Cathedral on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by internment in St Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to NB Heart & Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
