MASTON, SHIRLEY IRENE - Shirley Irene Maston of Primrose Cottage, Lower Millstream, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on May 26, 2007 at the age of 74. Born in Coles Island on September 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Erman and Ethel (McKnight) Ryder and was the wife of the late Burton Maston who passed away in 1994. Shirley is survived by three sons, Richard (Cathy) of Waterford (Alberta), Darrell (Elizabeth) of Sussex, Randy (Anise) of Cambridge Narrows; her sister, Doris Mason (Ken) of Berwick; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Doak-Maston of Drurys Cove; three grandchildren, Ian, Pam and Dylan; three great granddaughters; as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her daughter, Linda; her son, Malcolm; her granddaughter, Cassandra; and her brother, Vernon Ryder. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, May 28, 2007 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Coles Island Cemetery.
