Sister Lillian Cormier, in religion, Sr. Marie Ste-Darie, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 553 Elmwood Dr., Moncton, N.B., at the age of 98. She was in the 77th year of her religious profession. She was born in Margaree, N.S., the daughter of Joseph Cormier and Hélène LeBlanc. Besides her religious family, she is survived by two brothers, Léo, of Waltham, Mass., Raymond, of Grand Étang, N.S.; and by several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Sister spent the greater part of her life as a nursing aid, at Hôpital Cooke, Quebec and Sydney, N.S. She also served many years as home-maker and in the laundry department, in the Province of Quebec, in Western Canada, (Alberta), then in N.B. and N.S. The remains will be resting at 553 Elmwood Dr., Moncton, N.B. on Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 2 p.m. on. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the chapel at 553 Elmwood Dr., Moncton, N.B. at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28.
