TREADWELL, EMMA ELIZABETH ELLEN - Emma Elizabeth Ellen Treadwell, at the age of 102, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, May 31, 2007 at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born 1905, Tweedside, York County, NB. Wife of the late James Henry Treadwell of Brockway, York County, NB. Daughter of the late John and Margaret (Moffitt) Messer. Survived by three daughters, Avis Vail (Ralph) of Woodstock, NB, Carol Waycott and Gloria Anderson both of St. Stephen, NB, 10 grandchildren, Roy and Ted Brockway, Donna Neilson, James Waycott, Nancy Bardsley, Melanie Kelly, Joanne Firlotte, Krista Tabor, Pamela Anderson and Jill Anderson, 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Lois Althea Brockway and sons-in-law, Raymond Brockway, William Waycott and William Anderson, one granddaughter, Heather Anderson, five brothers and five sisters. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB with visiting hours on Friday June 1, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Brockway Union Church with Reverend Dr. Mark Hatfield officiating. Interment at Brockway Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brockway Cemetery/Church Fund or to a charity of donors choice.
