HAROLD MALCOLM McKINNON

McKINNON, HAROLD MALCOLM - passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday June 7th, 2007. He was born in Wells, NB. on August 18th, 1932 to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Latimore) McKinnon. Harold is survived by his wife Shirley (Steeves) McKinnon, son Harold Jr. (Wilma) McKinnon of Saint John, daughter Cathy (Samuel) Mason of Saint John, three stepsons Carman (Georganne) Fearon of Saint John, Michael (Annie) Fearon of Moncton and Edward Fearon also of Moncton, two step daughters Rosalie (Mike) Crosman of Moncton, Judith (William) Croft of Kent County, two brothers Frank (Hazel) and Richard (Helen) both of Quispamsis, a sister Christine Duplacey of Saint John, two grandchildren Christopher and Jody, two great grandchildren Callian and Brady and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by a son David Allen, three sisters Beatrice Tingley, Jean Starkey and Frances Starkey. Harold was in the Infantry Royal #22 Regiment Black Watch and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 58, he also loved to do crafts, play the fiddle and the accordion. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) The family will receive visitors on Sunday June 10th, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Tribute to a Veteran will be held Sunday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at the Glenview United Church on Monday June 11th, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Saint Paul's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of donor's choice.
