HEALEY, GRACE - The death of Grace Healey of Kingston, wife of Fred W. Healey occurred June 12, 2007 at Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. She was born in Saint John, daughter of the late Victor and Grace (Huston) Betts. She was a member of Erb's Cove Baptist Church. Grace enjoyed flower gardening, feeding and watching birds and cooking. She was a waitress at Hampton Irving Restaurant for many years and then worked at Durnnian Poultry Farm until retiring. Surviving besides her husband Fred W. Healey are two daughters, Sandra Smith (Douglas), Smithtown, Sharon Miller (David), Clifton Royal; four sons, Victor (Marilyn), Hampton, Fred A. (Ann), Saint John, Daniel (Anne Marie), Saint John, Peter (Cathy), Bloomfield; one sister Jean Campbell (Ralph), Kingston; 28 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ethel Wilson, Mary Hatfield and two brothers Herb and Alfred Betts. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 2:00 pm at Erb's Cove Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Cripps officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
