GIGOU, SUZANNE (LATULIPPE) - The death of Mrs. Suzanne (Latulippe) Gigou, 96 years, of the Kennebec Manor, loving wife of Gerard Gigou occurred peacefully on Sunday June 24, 2007 at her residence. Born 1911 in Neguac, NB she was the only child of the late Albert and Esther (Robichaud) Latulippe. Suzanne was very active making crafts (weaving) and selling them. She loved all animals especially aiding injured birds and especially enjoyed Pitou her cockatiel. She was one of the original founding members and very active in the French Acadian Society in Saint John. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Louis (Roma) Gigou of Nerepis; daughter Jeannine Howe (Douglas) of Nerepis; grandchildren Jeremy (Julie) Gigou of Saint John and Jenna Gigou (Robert Galbraith) of Saint John; two great grandchildren Benjamin and Cameron Gigou. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St.- François-de-Sales Church, Boars Head Road on Thursday June 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Grand Bay-Westfield.
