INMAN, MARGARET (PEGGY) 1924-2007 - The death of "Peggy", Margaret Blanche Inman of Perth-Andover, NB occurred at the Victoria Glen Manor on Sunday, July 8, 2007 after a brief illness. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Judith (Ronald) Jodrie, Deborah Howell, F.Michael Inman, Beth (John) Larsen, Shelley (David) Morgan, Gregory Inman and Phyllis Tingley, Catherine (Dennis) Mires; one sister Jackie Atkinson; 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband Bertram "Bert" Inman, daughter Ann (Peter) Cronin and sister Naida Kukurski. Born in Grand Falls, NB in 1924, she was the eldest daughter of E.Maxwell White and Beatrice MacKenzie (Davis). Mom graduated from Andover High School and the Chipman Memorial Hospital Training School for Nursing. Mom was a member of the Aroostook Valley Country Club, The Perth-Andover Curling Club, and a Member of the local Literacy Club. A great supporter of the Perth-Andover Library, the Southern Victoria Cancer Association, March of Dimes, the local Girl Guide Association, Co-founder of the Perth-Andover Beautification Committee along with her dear friend Enid Kelly. Mom received many acknowledgements for her many acts of volunteering. She was a past Canadian Representative of the Presque Isle Pioneer Playhouse Advisory Committee, Recipient of the New Brunswick Day Merit award, recipient of the New Brunswick Bicentennial Medallion. In accordance to Peggy's wishes there will be a private family memorial service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Perth-Andover Public Library or to the Southern Victoria Cancer Association would be appreciated by the family.
