
DOUGLAS E. JENNINGS
JENNINGS, DOUGLAS E. - The death of Douglas E. Jennings, 78, husband of Hazel (Rodgers) Jennings occurred Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Frederick and Ola (Peters) Jennings. He was married June 11th 1952 to Hazel (Rodgers). He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by two daughters, Carol of Abbortsford, B.C. and Neva (Bruce Smyth) of Bathurst; two sons, David (Nancy White) of Bathurst and Frederick of Dartmouth, N.S; 4 grandchildren, Ola, Courtney, Erica and Dustin. He operated the Jennings Poultry Farm since 1953 and ended dairy farming in 1977. He enjoyed his camp and snowmobiling with his chums. He was a member of St. George's Anglican Church. He was looking forward to the arrival to his first great grandchild. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Harper; and three sisters, Rona, Evelyn and Neva. At the family's request there is no visiting at the funeral home. Funeral service will be from St. George's Anglican Church, Sunday, August 19, 2007 afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery on St. Anne Street with Rev.
