April 28, 2008-April 29, 2008 Edmonton, Alta./Sydney Mines, N.S.On April 29, 2008, our precious baby boy Christian Ryan passed away in our arms at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alta. His tiny heart was too fragile for him, but has made our hearts overflow. Christian Ryan is survived by his mommy, Angele Herault, daddy, Shaun Berze-Butts, sister, Tianna Marie and brother, Shaun Patrick Jr., all residing in Fox Creek, Alta. Christian is also survived by his Nannie (Ella) and Grampa (Tom) Myers, Jordan, Ont., Grampa Reggie MacDonald, North Sydney, N.S., Nannie (Chantelle) and Grampa (Larry) Klentz, Petawawa, Ont., Grampa Tom Herault, Fort Coulonge, Que.; great-grandmother, Jessie Butts, Sydney Mines, N.S., Auntie Helene MacDonald, Halifax, N.S., Uncle Chris Scott, Halifax, N.S.; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Christian was predeceased by his Nannie Mrs. Marina MacDonald, North Sydney, N.S., his great-grandmother, Alice (Fahey) Butts and his great-grampie, Ernie Butts, Sydney Mines, N.S. A special thanks to Auntie Joanne Goodward and Uncle Terry Goodward of Fox Creek, Alta., for all their help and support during this time. We would also like to mention the staff of Ronald McDonald house in Edmonton, Alta., and thank them for all they have done to help our family and other families of sick children. Our precious baby boy was with us for a short time, but will live on in our hearts forever. Visitation for Christian R yan will be held in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines, Tuesday, May 6 from 12-2 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at 2 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Hughie MacNeil officiating. The burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Tobin Road, Sydney Mines. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities in memory of our precious Christian Ryan would be appreciated.
