60, Sydney Judith Mae ‘Judy’ Stone, 60, of Maple Ridge Drive, Sydney, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Phyllis (Stephens) MacKeigan. Surviving are her companion, Dennis Steele; daughters, Paul (Brian O’Callaghan) and Tracey (Ken Crossman), Sydney; son, David (Roxanne Allen), British Columbia; sister, Kathy (Wayne Hardy), Sydney; brothers, Brian (Terri), Sydney, Lawrence (Paula), Mira, and Leonard (Judy), Halifax; six grandchildren, Dylan, Sarah, Brandon, Hannah, Brian and Emily. A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Monday, 2 p.m. with Rev. Fred Rhymes officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
