BEATTEAY, ROSALIND M. - The death of Rosalind Margaret Beatteay, of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Robert G. Beatteay, occurred on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of late Phillip and Thelma (Charlton) Hamilton. Rosalind was employed at Biway and Giant Tiger in Ontario for many years. She was a member of the Federal Superannuals National Association. Rosalind is survived by three children; Robert Beatteay and Rhonda Beatteay of ON, and Randal Beatteay of Saint John, one sister; Bonnie McCumber of NC, USA, and two grandchildren; Samantha Logan and Brandee Beatteay of ON, and her longtime friend, Sandy Newell. Rosalind was predeceased by her son, Richard Beatteay. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Sunday from 5 - 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Interment to take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
