LAMBERT, VIRGINA MAY - Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on August 26, 2007, Mrs. Virgina May (Lord) Lambert, our mom, wife of the late Gordon A. Lambert of Lambertville NB went home to be with her Lord and God. Born on Adam's Island NB on November 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Bessie (Ricketts) Lord. A loving mother, grandmother and aunt she is survived by three sons, Murray (Debbie) Lambert of Hanwell NB, Vaughn (Kathy) and Winston Lambert both of Deer Island NB; a very special nephew, Harold (Becky) Earle of Deer Island; three grandchildren, Christin (Kerry) Shanklin of L'Etete NB, Jonathan (Sheryl) Lambert of Deer Island and Jordan Lambert of Hanwell; two sister in laws, Barbara and Margaret; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Asa and Vernon Lord. Ginny had worked as a sardine packer for Connor's Bros. for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed singing in the Church of Christ Choir in Lord's Cove where she attended church and took part in many church functions. She will be especially missed by her loving German Shepard dogs, Emma and Ranger. At Ginny's request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Deer Island on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Glenn Cox officiating. In her memory donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
