COSSABOOM, VERDA GENEVIE - Verda Genevie Cossaboom widow of the late Leeman E. Cossaboom passed away Wednesday August 29th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1920 in William Dale, N.S she was the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Reta Marie (Horton) Payne. Verda is survived by her three daughters Brenda Louise Cossaboom of Surrey, B.C, Nancy Lynn Stevens of Saint John and Janice Ann Richard of Hampton; grandchildren Trevor Richard, Crystal Caines and Paul Stevens; one great-granddaughter Kaia Caines. Besides her parents and husband Leeman, Verda was predeceased by two brothers Hillman and Wallace Payne and one granddaughter Cythia Cossaboom. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday August 30, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday August 31st at 2:00 p.m. Following cremation private family interment will take place.
